Berry-Mint Kefir Smoothies

Ingredients

Smoothie

  • 1 cup low-fat plain kefir
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 1-2 tablespoon fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Combine kefir (1 cup), berries (1 cup), orange juice (1/4 cup), fresh mint (1-2 tablespoons), and honey (1 tablespoon) in a blender.
  2. Process until smooth. (The smoothies will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 day or in the freezer for up to 3 months.)

Tips

  • Kefir is a drinkable yogurt found in the dairy section of most supermarkets.
